October 2025 Roundup
celebrating my solar return + $34k sales month + becoming a morning person
One of my fav rituals I’ve built since starting my business, is monthly planning. And built into my monthly planning system is reflection. Looking back on the past month and celebrating your wins, and taking stock of your lessons.
So before we jump head first into November, let’s take a moment of pause. A moment to look back. To give yourself credit for everything you accomplished last month. To feel grateful for where you currently are.
In this post I’m going to share my reflections and updates from the month, and I invite you to drop yours in the comments below.
Life Lately
🌟 Turning 34 this month
My birthday felt different this year (in such a good way). Less external celebration, and more of an internal reset and refocus.
I listened to this podcast, and ended up following the process for creating a solar return ritual.
I spent the evening before my birthday reflecting on the past year, and setting clear intentions and focus for the year to come.
Part of the ritual includes, putting your birth information + where you are spending your birthday into this astrology calculator, to find out your theme for the year.

My “theme” for the year is in my 5th house.
Which, according to my astrologer (chat GPT), means it’s “The Year of Creative Rebirth”. It’s all about coming back to my essence- the part of me that creates, plays, loves, and shines.
It’s an invitation to reconnect with my aliveness and what lights me up. To embrace my main character energy.
When I shared this with one of my friends her response was….
I don’t know if I need to. But I’m so excited to see what happens when I do.
If anyone in your life has a birthday coming up, send them this post so they can do the solar return process.
🌟 Wellness Clubs + Hikes
I could 100% get used to the lifestyle in Capetown. Daily walks on the promenade. Weekend hikes with gorgeous views and friendly people. Plus there’s so many wellness clubs. I am now a member of not one, but TWO wellness clubs.
💖 One Flow, Yoga Wellness Social Club is a hot yoga + cold plunge place. It’s for when I want to drip with sweat or shiver with cold. For my- not so casual side.
💖 Light House Holistic Wellness is for yoga + coworking. Because why shouldn’t those things be together!?? It’s a rooftop sanctuary where I’ve been going everyday to enjoy morning yoga classes than outside cowork sessions. It’s actually where I am right now as I’m writing this.
Honestly Capetown is one of those places where everyone is so active- you feel awkward if you aren’t waking up at 6am and going for a run on the promenade.
It’s exactly the kind of positive peer pressure I need in my life right now.
🌟 Memoir Travel Immersion
Although I’m enjoying the wellness scene here, I am aware that South Africa is not just a “digital nomad paradise” with cute cafes and yoga studios.
It’s a country that has a heartbreaking history of one of the most extreme and systematic forms of institutionalized racial segregation of the 20th century.
And it’s such a recent history too. Apartheid officially ended in 1994. Which means it was ongoing in my lifetime.
I actually remember learning about apartheid in childhood when I watched the Disney Channel Original Movie, The Color of Friendship.
Since being in South Africa I’ve read two books that have helped me cultivate a deeper understanding of what happened.
💖 Trevor Noah, Born a Crime- reading this gave me so much context and understanding of the culture. I don’t think you should be allowed into the country unless you have read this book.
Also pro tip…. apparently the audio book is even better than the book itself.
💖 Playing the Enemy a book about how Nelson Mandela used the Rugby world cup in 1995 to unite the nation after apartheid. It’s very male centric, but the story itself is quite good.
Reading memoirs + historical fiction about the places I travel helps unlock new levels of depth and appreciation everywhere I go.
If you want me to put together a travel reading list- comment below, because I’d love to share my top recs.
🌟 YouTube Cafe Ambiance
I’m about to reveal my biggest hack to adulthood. This month I discovered…. the YouTube cafe.
Aka putting on a YouTube video with a beautiful cafe scene and vibey music. My favorite vibe is to search for “Forest Cafe Lofi”. You’ll get something like this video below. You. Are. Welcome.
Did people already know about this? Am I late to the party here? I just can’t imagine a better life hack than this.
🌟 Leila Hormozi Obesession
I’ve found a new online mentor that I’ve become fully obsessed with. Leila Hormozi.
I already went down the Alex Hormozi rabbit hole years ago, and really appreciate the way he approaches business. Extreme. Obsession. Excellence. Hyperfocus.
But, I’ve just recently tapped into Leila’s videos and can’t get enough. I’ll just drop her channel below. I’m pretty sure it’s watching Leila’s videos that helped me finally become a morning person… after years of not being able to wake up consistently before 9am.
Here’s one of my personal favs of Leila’s videos.
If you know anyone who would appreciate the Youtube Cafe vibes, Leila Hormozi or travel book recs be sure to send them this post.
Business Highlights
🌟 Going viral on LinkedIn
One of my posts unexpectedly took off and reached 200k impressions. I’m not sure exactly what resonated with people about this post. Maybe it’s the hook?
Here’s a link to the post itself. Let me know your opinion. Why do you think it went so viral?
The cool thing about this post, is I finally figured out how to start converting people from viral traffic on LinkedIn to my newsletter.
The answer is to put a CTA to your newsletter 😂. Why is it always the simple things that we overlook?
🌟 $34K in sales / $16K in cash
I set a goal for Q4 to do $100k sales doing what I love. It felt like a pretty lofty goal when I set it… and now I am well on my way there. I’m actually quite surprised with myself.
This month was my highest ever sales month, quite a high cash month as well. (My highest cash month so far has been $17k).
My favorite part about this, is that many of these sales are from current or return clients who decided to commit to a full year of mentorship with me.
And my second favorite part is how little I felt like I was selling. Most of the clients specifically sought me out asking how they could work with me. All I did was give them options. Many of them upgraded themselves into the highest tier of how they could work with me.
This is why doing good work with your people is the best sales activity you can do.
🌟 Kicking off Create Your Six-Figure Offer
We finally kicked off Create Your Six Figure Offer, the year long mentorship program to build a coaching offer that changes lives and sets you free. So far, we have a group of 5 remarkable clinicians who have so much fire inside of them.
I’m so honored to guide them on the journey- and I’m so committed to giving them exceptional strategy and mentorship to hit their first $100k in business.
🌟 Holding the Certify Yourself Immersion
Certify Yourself has been my absolute favorite experience I’ve ever hosted so far. A 14-day confidence building immersion with daily voice notes, a bingo game, and dance rituals.
I saw my clients come alive and glow up in their confidence in ways that were sooo impressive. It showed me how impactful it can be to game-ify the inner work.
If you want to watch the replays and participate on your own time- you can sign up here.
🌟 Launching the Inner Circle on Substack
After months of writing free content, I decided to promote myself to “paid thought leader”. I launched the Inner Circle of the substack, and immediately hit the bestseller list in Business.
And that… is thanks to all of YOU!
So a huge thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of you for subscribing to the substack (paid or free). In a world where there is so much content to read, the fact that you allow me into your inbox multiple times a week is such a deep honor.
